This passed week I went backpacking just west of the Presidential Range in New Hampshire with my Dad! We went hiking the uber ritzy way, however, staying in huts along the trail, where beds were provided, and dinner and breakfast was cooked and served as well! (So it wasn’t the stereotypical ‘roughing it’ as per a usual backpacking adventure.
Nonetheless, the trip was pretty incredible. We hiked into Galehead Hut on the first day, covered South and North Twin Mountains the second, tackled Mt. Garfield and Lafayette to get to Greenleaf Hut on the third, then over Lafayette again, this time crossing Mt. Lincoln as well, making our way to Lonesome Lake Hut for our fourth and final night!
